Maiatzaren 24an Añorgatik mendi ibilaldi bat egin genuen. Gure ikastolaren inguruan dauden animali, landare, zuhaitz eta baserriak ikusi genituen. Oso eguraldi ona egin egin zuen eta primeran pasa genuen!

Martxoaren 22 eta 23an Zugarramurdira joan ginen. Gauza pilo bat egin genituen eta oso ondo pasa genuen. Herria oso polita zen eta gure aterpea ere bai.

Primeran ibili ginen!!
Oraingoan Boga-Boga Marinela gaia lantzen ari gara . Euskal arrantzaleak balea ehizatzera Ternuara joaten ziren eta gu Pasaiako Albaola Faktoriara joan gara beraien itsasontziak nolakoak ziren ikustera eta ikastera.

Abenduaren 15ean Tolosako Topic en egon ginen. Mariona ikusi genuen eta baita berarekin bizi diren beste txontxongilo batzuk ere.
Txotxongilo ikuskizun polit batean egon ginen eta ondoren museoa bisitatu genuen. Mundu guztiko txotxongiloak zeuden!!
Arkupean bazkaldu ondoren tailer bat egitera joan ginen eta gure txotxongilo bereziak egin genituen. Ze politak atera zitzaizkigun!!
Gure gelan Erdi Aroa lantzen ari gara. Aurreko astelehenean 4.mailakoak etorri ziren Xakean nola jolasten den erakustera.

At the end of the unit we filled in some information cards about ourselves, then we exchanged our cards with G3 pupils in Jakintza School. Finally, we used each other´s cards to play Guess Who through Skype with them. We had a great time! Thank you, Jakintza!

2) EGG-LAYING ANIMALS BOOK
We also drew and wrote descriptions of our favourite egg-laying animals and turned it all into a book. Have a look here.
We heard that Grade 3 in Jakintza School were going to make descriptions of egg-laying animals and wanted to share, so we recorded a video with and introductions and the descriptions of aour faourite egg-laying animals. We had a lot of fun!

We thought of every day situations that take place in the English class. We came up with some dialogues for those situations. Then we acted them out in Classroom Sketches for HH5 pupils.

After writing the ingredients, utensils and the steps to make a lemon cake, we made one in the school, following the instructions in our Lemon Cake Book. And then we ate it! Delicious!

Our English teacher told us that some relatives in Australia sent her a video explaining how they celebrate Xmas in Australia and asking how we celebrate them in the Basque Country. She asked us if we could think of something to show them.
We decided to act out sketches to explain how we celebrate S. Tomas Day, Xmas (Eve and Day), New Year's (Eve and Day), and Epiphany Day.

LH5 pupils spent 2 weeks in September with Diana and Kelly, two native teachers from California and Manchester.
They practised a lot of English and they learnt about witches and wizards, potions and spells.

We solved some clues and decoded some messages, we googled that information to find the names of the women behind. Reading information about them from the book Fantastically Great Women Who Changed The World, we wrote a fact file about each of these women in groups.

Also, in our Detective Agencies, we helped pupils in LH5 find their lost pets, listening to their descriptions. Then, they helped us decipher some secret messages.

Lehengo asteazkenean Tolosara joan ginen Titirijai festara, txotxongiloak ikustera.

4. Emakumeenganako indarkeriaren aurkako Nazioarteko Eguna.
Azaroaren 24ean ikastolan emakumeenganako indarkeriaren aurkako nazioarteko eguna ospatu genuen.
Pasilo guztiak apaindu genituen, baita sarrera ere. Guk globoekin bideo bat grabatu genuen "ez da ez" esanez.

3. BIDE HEZKUNTZA
Azaroak 6 eta 7ean bide hezkuntzako saio batzuk egin genituen. Lehenengo egunean gelan egin genuen saioa eta bigarrenean, berriz, patioan. Udaltzainak txirrindak ekarri zituzten eta zirkuito batean ibili ginen txirrindekin.

1. ENGLISH. THE APPRENTICE CHEF.
At the end of the unit, LH6 pupils organised a Sandwich Bar Opening.
They made posters of their menus and prepared some delicious sandwiches.
They acted out as bartenders and clients.
Finally they eat the sandwiches and drank the drinks they had ordered.
